March : A Summary
Hello there, today is the last day of March 2019.
i thought it would be nice if i make a lil bit of summary on what happened in this month. btw, i was thinking that i should and wanna do the summary of each month for this year at the end of every month insyaAllah, i will keep you guys updated on previous months (February and January) lol. maybe by doing this it would help me reflects back on what had been going in my life for the past months and keep reminding myself to always appreciate each and every moment that is happening to me.
Okay so here we go !!!
I would say that i start this month with so much happiness and gratefulness as my batch mates successfully organized our annual inter faculty scrabble competition ‘14. it is an annual event that would be organized by second year of medical students in our university. Despite all those dramas and challenges that we encounter before and during the event, alhamdulillah we can still manage to handle all those obstacles well. the thing i love when organising an event is that, i know each and everyone of us is really needed to play our own roles and do our task which had been assigned accordingly beforehand. we all need and complement each other for this meaningful event to happen successfully. the same applies in medical world, just imagine, there is no nurses who will take the vital signs of the patients, no cleaner who would help to ensure the hospitals is in clean conditions, no clerk who are needed to admit the patients in wards, wouldn’t it be chaotic, right? so, just remember that each and everyone of us is special. you matter to yourself, your family, your batch, your university and ummah. remember that.
The next day of this IFSC’14, i went to Tampin as a volunteer to help our seniors (4th year medical student) in their Community Health posting. i do learn a lott during that time. we can learn on how to communicate with the community there, learn how to measure blood pressure and blood glucose level and yeah, i do learn something from the exhibition there. (fun fact : the low fat milk is called low fat milk because yes, it does reduce the fat in the milk but it increase the sugar in that milk too)
The next weekend is like one of the memorable weekend i have in this month where our faculty, Faculty of Medicine and Health Science (FPSK) had won the overall champion in Vice Chancellor Cup in Asian Parliamentary Debate Competition 2019. i was extremely happy and over the cloud nine when i hear the news as i am one of the person who like help quite a bit in english debate team to prepare for this competition. ehekkk. Congratulations for all of you ! Love you guys to the moon and back. Gitewww. hahahahaha.
Oh, i almost forgot that my friends and i went to one of the primary school here to give like some sort of awareness for them regarding Aedes and Dengue. I need to give them a talk regarding it and i tell you what, it was disastrous! Hell no i am doing that again in my entire life. i just can’t handle all those kids like they are wild. Super wild i can say. but after all, i am grateful for the experience i had with those kids who are still in standard 3. who am i to hate them as they are still kids right? *rolling eyes* we also do some collaboration with Boboiboy for this event. Those kids are like super happy when they saw their favourite cartoons (maybe, i just assume lol) in real life. urghh, kids. ps: i know i wouldn’t be pursuing my master in paediatric obviously as they are just so freaking annoying (for me). but i know some of you guys really love kids, right. whatever.
On 21st of March, i attend this so called workshop at one of the most prestigous university in my country. It’s basically just like some talk for half of the day and then we got to have our workshop session in the evening. We can choose various types of workshops such as suturing, knotting, iv injection, laporoscopic and arthroscopic workshop. I chose laporoscopic workshop obviously as i know that i won’t be learning on how to use that laporoscopic insturments in my medschool. So yeah, it was a great opportunity and experince for me as i can learn a lot of things that day. Alhamdulillah.
The last event that i want to remember most is this year Medicolympic !!! It was yesterday when we are having this medicolymic. It was just basically like an annual sports event for our faculty which involves every members of our faculty including the students and the lecturers. I am not going to say much on this event but let me the only one know what happen yesterday. Lol. Btw, our group won overall winner for this year championship ! Congratulations to all atheletes for making this year a successful year for us. I am happy that i also contribute something (silver medal) to my team. Ehekkkk.
With all this memories i had posted here, i hope that i can appreciate more and more upcoming things which will occur to me, and make me more grateful on what i had nowadays. Feel free to share and comment you happiest moments in this month guys.
Oh, before i forgot, on 30th of March every year is an international Doctor Day !!! So, i would like to wish Happy Doctor Day to all doctors that i know and not to forget all future doctors (including me) insyaallah. Thank you for always being there when patients need you. Thank you for all of your sacrifices towards the community. Thank you so much for inspiring young generation to be one of you guys. Thank you.
That’s all from me, fake it till you make it. Xoxo 😘
